Money and a mobile sim

Yes,  that was today's quest.... Made a little harder by not speaking Spanish....  Haha.... Walked all over Buenos till I hit something huge,  thinking.... This maybe a bank?  Went in.... It was crazy big.... Maybe  1/2 the size of a football  field.... Went to the info desk...  Hola? Was directed down stairs....  I then had to queue...  15mins, then get a number...  Really queue,  wait for my number to be called,  then go to the correct counter ooops was all in Spanish.....

Just to get some cash.....

Mobile home found a sign outside...  A pharmacy....  Moviestar mobile....  Managed to get a sim,  still not sure if it's active....

Oh yeah got back to the hotel and a currency exchange is right across the road  damn!

After 10+hour and maybe 1 hours sleep I made it,  special thanks to flo,  for picking me up from the airport.....  And managing to navigate to the hotel...

Did get to see the big glacier from my Window seat.. Sorry missed snapping a photo.

Hotel is good... Room is tiny,  very secure....  And very clean

But is 43nzd a night with a free breakfast  :

It all started with an invite, "Hey do you want to come to our wedding in Argentina?"

Stars are where I'm going!! Thanks to Mariana, and Dani, for all the help, working out where to go!! and poor Dani and Gato, for inviting me on there honeymoon! (strange I know!) but still will be fantastic to catch up and travel with old friends again!!

It all started off well.... booked my flights from NZ, then I had the first shock, looked at some of the prices of buses, intercity... $140-200usd per trip! was like WTF! looked at airline flights... internal... got a little confused, they seemed soo expensive.... compared to NZ/Europe/Asia/India... then it got WORSE, those expensive flights! (intercity) were local rates!, Argentina, has a 2 tier pricing system, for local flights! with the foreign rates, being 20-30% more.... great!!

After that shock, I was thinking OMG, what have I got myself in for....I was expecting... $2500nzd in just internal flights... in the finish, I cut down my destinations, with total cost of internal flights to $1200nzd! seemed alot for just 1 1/2 hour flights...

Anyway, I increased my budget for the trip!! too my surprise, hotel prices seemed pretty good, (will see what they are like when I get there I guess..) but... they seem to be $43-$75 per night with a free breakfast!, except some in Salta, due to the honeymoon, $130-$300nzd per night.

Schedule, is Buenos Aires -> Campana (Wedding) -> Buenos Aires -> Salta (Honeymoon) -> Iguazu Falls -> Bariloche -> Neuquen -> Buenos Aires -> Back home to NZ!
