Honeymoon is over

Time to finally say goodbye and adios to Dani & Gato,  thank you both so much,  for the invite and letting me tag along... On the honeymoon....  Had an awesome time,  I'm sure to never forget....  Enjoy the rest of you time in catayate,  see you two the next time you're in nz,  or the next time I make it back to Argentina!!

Another interesting place... Hill of the seven colours, very dry and dusty... Hotel was pretty nice....lots of shops and stalls around selling local wares... Only down side.... No money coverting shops.... And pretty rare for shops to accept visa....and yeah...if you find a shop that accepts the visa... Isny anything in there worth buying.... As m limited with weight... For internal flights..15kg 

Lots of walking.... Spent 2 days here exploring the region...also visited the salt flats...got to 4000 metres above sea level....

Even got to see some wild lama's.... Yeah was pretty exciting.... Landscape is amazing....will take your breath away... 

Very very dry place....sun is aggressive just like nz....

Tilcara jujuy and humahuaca

Well.. to the north, you get a small sense of how big this country truly is, motorways are pretty good... Lots of long straight double laned till we hit the mountain valleys...crossing countless dryed up river beds.... The Rio Grande...which was pretty wide... Was lucky to be a very small stream....

The mountains were pretty straight up... crazy amounts of gravel

Got to our hotel...with some of the coloured hills surrounding...was pretty amazing... Hotel was pretty basic.... crazy expensive....think it was close to 200usd a night...but was clean an secure.. people are really friendly...
. crazy amounts of dogs...of all types...none of them aggressive or hostile.... Happy to tag along for a morning walk...

Salta... Continued

Sorry about the delay in posts... Few issues with internet... And actually using my main camera... But of a pain....transfering images to my phone for the blog

Anyway here are a few pics from Salta, at night.. from the top of the hill...yep...was alot of stairs coming down... Lots of young girls....up there getting there photos taken... At first I was thinking, wtf is going on...  Girls all dressed up.. hmm how can I say... Short skirts etc with a camera team following...lights etc... really weird..

Talked to gato, Dani who said it it's there 15th birthday.... Is a big deal for girls here...they spend....just as much money on the 15th birthday that you would for a weekend....
